Help characterizing Raskolnikov from Crime and Punishment...?

So I'm reading Crime and Punishment for my English cl and I got an ignment to write an ertive paragraph characterizing Raskolnikov. I have the gist of the kind of character he is and his philosophies but I'm not entirely sure. If anybody could help and/or provide examples than that would be great. Thanks.
