Anyone please help. throat is killing me?

for the past two days only the right side of my throat hurts. it is swollen wher my tonsil is, there is puss on top of my right tonsil. the left side is perfectly fine. when i go to swallow the pain is immense and almost unbearable. ive tried aspirin, sore throat med, drinking tea, gargling salt water and nothing has even remotely helped. i also have a fever and light headedness. some one please help me. i also went to the doctor and they took a strep test that came back negative
