For those who think the Iraqis didn't want freedom...?

Ok, first of all, if you had taken a poll of Iraqi's before we invaded them, do you really think a majority of them would of wanted us to come in and kill saddam? Im guessing no. Even if they did want us to come, I can ure you, they wouldn't of wanted us to stay there for 5 years. Most of the muslim leaders around the area were suprised when we decided to stay in Iraq after we toppled saddam, even they expected us to just leave. And are you seriously telling me, that a majority of Iraqi's would of wanted the U.S. government to takeover and put into power, puppet leaders appointed by us? As evidenced by some polls, as much as 30-50% of iraqi's think its okay to kill American Soldiers. ANd the countless attacks on us. I think there trying to give some hints that they dont want us there. Just about it, if it was your country, Would you want a foreign power staying there for 5 years, messing up your country, imposing their beliefs on you and telling you what you should or shouldnt do? ANd second of all, i thought this was suppose to be the war on terror? Since when did we decide to help the people of Iraq? If they truly wanted our help, why didnt any Iraqi leaders come to congress and ask for their help? Why didnt we declare war?
