Do people realize that the "model minority" status applies to most immigrants?

Model minority is not a term to feel good about anyway. It implies that asians don't cause any problems like demanding equality or challenging the status quo. This whole thing of "illegal" mexican immigrants over looks that they are poor farmers that aren't even given the chance to apply for citizenship because they are poor.
