Is there a legal way I can transport my firearm on a plane?

Need to dismantle and have it in a gun box. No bullets in chamber, or in clips. And, in a locked box. And, you are to declare it at the ticket counter. If you do not declare it that is a Federal Offense. And, I suggest you do not bring it to you to California since you not in Kansas anymore. You need to find out gun laws in California for out of state concealed weapons.
