My gimp shortcut is gone, how can i get it back?

i was having problems with mcafee banning my internet access, so i sent my laptop to a tech guy my step dad knows. i know have it back and it works wonderfully, just had to turn off the firewall, but i noticed my gimp shortcut is gone. and theres no gimp in my start menu. but when i go into my program files, its all there. theres nothing in my recycling bin either...how do i get my shortcut back? theres no files in the gimp file in the program folders to use or was specified to be used as a shortcut.
