What music genre should I pursue with my singing voice?

Ok, you have a very nice voice but there is no career prospect without some training. Go to the academy and learn how to sing with proper technique and tuning. Your voice can change rapidly in the first year of learning and as your voice is still breaking the change is more likely. I think you should ask those people at the academy for advice on what to do and whether to choose swing as a genre to sing in. You're right, swing does not sell but as long as you don't call it swing you have more of a chance of being successful. I think you should start singing some more swing-like songs and ease people in to it. However, swing will not sell to people in your age bracket. You have a good voice, keep trying. Hope this helped.
